Warm and homey
Very warm and inviting. Maria was very helpful making sure I made my early morning tours. Would definitely stay there again. Even packed a takeaway breakfast for me as I was out so early each day.

Amara Bed & Breakfast is a very familiar little guesthouse. I felt very well and warm welcomed there from the first contact on as Maria offered me a late check in because I arrived so late in Dublin airport and whe even had delay with this flight. The three variations of breakfast were great and very tasty, so that the day began wonderful for me for the trips I had planned. Everything was good reachable with the bus and even the air coach bus station was not far away. To come to Connolly Station takes, if you prefer to take a walk around one hour through beautiful streets. I enjoyed the small room with the bed under the roof looking out of the window into a bit windy night before going to sleep and the very clean, great shared bathroom. There were nice other guests around and when I came back late from a Tour, I enjoyed to sit in the dining room and getting a cup of fine English tea. All in all it was a very lovely accomodation for a few nights in Dublin. Thanks to those who made this stay so wonderful in this beautiful capitol of Irland.

Quaint B&B close to Dublin
This was a nice B&B on the bus route in to Dublin. Getting in to the city was easy and the accommodations provided parking for your car. Maria and Alan were kind, helpful and hospitable. The room was on the small side with minimal counter space for your toiletries/cosmetics but it was comfortable and clean. The breakfast in the dining room was nice and on the morning we left early for the airport a “breakfast-to-go” was waiting for us in the lobby. The Almara had a winning location, 10-15 minute bus ride to the center of Dublin and about a 10-15 minute drive to the airport. We would recommend this B&B to our family and friends but book ahead as they were full when we were there.
