Iceland Trip
Room was very clean and had a small kitchenette with an oven, silverware, plates, etc. The bed was very comfortable and roomy. The staff was friendly but you had to go downstairs and use the phone to call if you had a problem with anything. The only problem I found was that the USB plugs in the room didn’t work and we didn’t have an adapter to charge our electronics. There is a folder that tells you how things work, places to eat, etc. The hotel is located a few blocks from the downtown area, approximately a 10 minute walk. For the price I would highly recommend this hotel. It’s not a super huge room but for two people was very clean, comfy, and very cozy.

Excellent accommodations for the price
I loved my stay here. It was within walking distance to the main area of town with restaurants and night life. Parking was right in front. The bed was comfortable and most importantly the bathroom was very clean and the shower was large. They properly filter the water so it doesn't smell like sulfur unlike the other hotels I stayed during our trip)! I stayed in a room with a king size bed (2 twins put together but it didn't feel like that) and it would have been great for maximum 2 people. The weird thing was that there was a very low hanging (large) light fixture from the wall in the middle of the room that have to walk around. I think a table is supposed to be below it but the table was off to the side because otherwise you would have much walking space if it was in the center. The advertised image isn't really accurate in terms of this light fixture. Also the windows are thin so you can hear all the street noise. There wasn't much of it in the winter but it's probably worse in the summer.

Not for 105 but for Apartment K
Something got messed up with our reservation but they took care of us right away and upgraded us to Apartment K which was a larger and better location than we originally booked. Considering the complication the staff was on top of it and had us taken care of right away. Even let us park in employee parking because 105 had free parking and Apartment K did not. We loved the roof apartment we had but there was a smell issue with the bathroom. It was clean but there was a strong smell from the sewer that was more than a little unpleasant. I would like to hope this is a situation they are taking care of because the rooftop studio was so amazing and had great views of the city but my wife wouldn't even shower or brush her teeth in there because it smelled so bad.

Perfect spot
Absolutely perfect for a downtown stay in Reykjavik, or to head out to the other amazing sights nearby. Well equipped kitchen, great bathroom/shower and comfy bed. It was ideal to stay off the main drag since it was only a 5-10 minute walk and at night we had peace and quiet. Reception was lovely and helpful and our room/apt was clean, decor was beautiful and we loved it here. Highly recommend!

Late night arrival
My gps didn’t work, so it was difficult to find at night. However the directions they provided to get to the room were excellent.

Bed bugs!
Nice place, but our room had bed bugs! Unacceptable. Very unhappy about this.

Great for the active traveler
105-Townhouse Hotel is clean and the rooms are in good condition. The kitchen and bathroom were rather nice and well-stocked. Overall amenities such as mini-fridge, stove top, combination microwave/oven, and dishwasher were much appreciated. This is a great place for someone who will be out most days exploring but needs a comfortable room in which to sleep, make coffee and a small meal and get ready for the next outing. My stay in April 2019 was smooth with no problems encountered. There are a few general issues to be aware of but nothing terribly concerning. The hotel itself is somewhat difficult to find, the neighborhood isn't the best, and the level of street noise is somewhat high. The windows do a good job of quieting it down but it's fairly noisy with the windows open, which is necessary to regulate the temperature. If your room is not on the side facing the street, I'd imagine the noise is a bit less. Finally, the shower water pressure was fine overall but it did fluctuate quite a bit at times.

Even though we arrived earlier than the designated check in, we were well taken care of! They gave us an alternate room earlier (we were exhausted) and we were able to get some needed rest quickly. The room was beautiful and warm 👍

Great boutique hotel. Very clean and modern. Great location. Short walk to Laugavegur Street. I’m very picky when it comes to hotels and this one was great. My only suggestion would be for them to consider a Do Not Disturb sign and deadbolt on the door.
