    Ty Helyg Guest House, Brecon
    Very comfortable if brief stay.
Overnight stay on brief visit to Brecon. Very clean, friendly and helpful. Location excellent for what we needed. Parking a bit iffy, but hosts explained very clearly the options and it worked very well. Helpful at pointing out alternatives for evening meal too.

    Mum/daughter stargazing weekend
A lovely stay with my daughter for a stargazing experience at Libanus. Really enjoyed Brecon and couldnt fault Ty Helyg and the service provided by Christine and John. Lots of good advice about the town, things to do places to eat, etc. Would definitely like to come back again and hope for even more stars (and fewer clouds!).

    Ty Helyg - wonderful
Lovely guest house and Christine and John were so welcoming and lovely. Breakfast was excellent and I loved having fresh milk for tea in our rooms. Wonderful.

A lovely place, great owners and comfortable
Great welcome from the owners, very friendly Very helpful and knowledge about surrounding areas and what to do was excellent Room very clean, well presented As well as tea and coffee in bedroom they provide flovered/herbal tea Equipment in the room was great Few restaurants and bars around WiFi available although you may need to use different networks depending where you are in the building, all free Few little issues: Bathroom sink was far too small for me Parking can be a problem (free on road if you can find space) Floor boards can be squeeky, you can hear people walking in the above rooms Breakfast was fine but didn't like the sausages.

    Great B&B in Brecon
Really lovely B&B. John and Christine were lovely, really friendly and helpful. Our room was nicely done out and much larger than expected. Comfy bed and good shower. Nice area to relax in with a coffee or a beer. The log burner was great after a long day was the beer. Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. The town is literally on the doorstep, with some nice pubs and places to eat. If you eat in The Bank, you get 10% off the bill for staying here...I would recommend eating here, good pub food. Our stay was only slightly let down by the noisy locals making their way home after a night out.
