When I checked in, the lady and the man at the reception, who seem to be the owner couple of the hotel, were very friendly although they don’t speak English at all. It was difficult to communicate with them when I needed to book a taxi to go to the airport in the early morning on next day. There is no elevator so the man at the reception brought my big suitcase up to my room. That was really nice. When I checked out in the next early morning though, there was a young man at the reception, I asked him to help me bring down my big heavy suitcase, he refused saying “No I won’t do that as it’s not in my job description”. I was shocked!!

The hotel is in a perfect location. All the sights are walkable. The hotel is really clean. My only suggestion is to update the bedding and towels. Sandeep at the front desk is excellent. He went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

Pluses and minuses
For the price--good choice in this part of town. You can walk to museums and Plas de la Concorde and shopping and other forms of entertainment. The hotel is quite old and shows it a bit. The amenities are OK but not what you would find in an upscale place. Breakfast is NOT included. Stairs if that matters--front desk is on the second floor. The main person at the desk does not speak English--or not well. Other staff DO speak English but it is a challenge. EVERYONE is very accommodating however and again for the price in this neighborhood.....

Good, cozy hotel
Small, cozy hotel in Paris. It was difficult to find; however, thanks to our Uber driver, we found out way to the hotel. We did not have a car thankfully as there was no place to park. We were able to walk to different places without difficulty. The room was rather clean despite an odd smell, most-likely as the building is old. The room reminded me of my grandmother's home, which made it feel cozy. The bed was very comfortable. The street tends to be quite noisy at night.

Lovely! Just be wary as a solo female traveler...
The area is unmatched. You are so close to everything in Paris. I managed to complete my entire bucket list mostly by walking. The rooms are small but very comfortable and cozy. A/C is sooooo nice. And the shower is amazing too. However, I had some issues as a solo female traveler. In particular, one of the staff members decided it was appropriate to find my social media and add me on it. And I didn’t feel comfortable at all some days because the male staff members made me slightly uncomfortable with their stares. Just be wary as a female traveling alone, since I don’t want other women to feel uncomfortable when traveling. I’m disappointed only due to the staff members’ behaviors.

Cute, safe, central and great hospitality!
The pros: The staff was SO professional and amicable. The bed was super comfortable and clean. The location was great and quiet at night time staying 8 nights was great. To know: If you are American and have never been to Europe, you need to know that the scale in bathrooms is much smaller than in the USA and that is normal in europe. Also, don’t expect for these beautiful old buildings to have elevator, the majority do not so be ready to go up the stairs. This hotel was wonderful to stay at, I would recommend it and definitely go back again.
