Cash only
The venue is more like an apartment without a kitchen than a hotel. The owner was very friendly but only accepted cash payment, which was a bit of a hassle. The room itself was good to sleep in with proper a/c & blinds and a quiet neighborhood up on the hill. There was a mini fridge and water boiler in the room but no safe. Hand soap was available but no body wash.

Not Bad but do not expect a hotel!
This is a guesthouse not a hotel, so don't expect things like free toiletries. The rooms are not all the same. We had a room without a balcony but with a terrace, which is basically a table and 2 chairs next to the communal door, therefore no privacy. If we had the choice again we would not have picked a room without a balcony. There are no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms although there is a small fridge and there is a shared kitchen. We had a huge King size bed but the bedding consisted of 2 single size sheets! There is a bus stop close by but the buses are over-crowded and badly designed. Croatian men seem to like to take up 2 seats each which means most people have to stand. The No.8 bus is every half an hour from here to the old town. Eating out is VERY expensive, last year we went to Venice and found eating out cheaper. If we had had a balcony we probably would have eaten in more.

Very dirty air conditioner in the room
Good location and medium size room. Very poor soundproof and you can hear all the noise from the next door. WiFi is not working and the stuff can't help. Luckily we bough a local SIM with data so it is not a problem. The air conditioner is very dirt (See attached picture). We were hesitated to open it while we closed all the windows at night.

Very fine guesthouse nearby old town
The reception was very plesant , the lady of the guesthouse was very nice and friendly. We were a bit too urly but that was no problem and we could leave our car on her private parkingspace and leave to the town and before we left she gave us a citymap and gave us the directions of the city-bus for in case we need that. In the evening when we came back she welcomed us and showed us our room. we had a nice chat about the weather and the things we've seen that day. Everything you could need was there, and everything looked brandnew as if it never been used. If our daughter goo es back to Dubrovnik (with some friends ) she will defenently chouse for that guest-house because it was such a good experiance and such a friendly lady. We would like to her again and we sure would ercomment that hotel to our friends .

Good room away from the old town
Overall a good stay but was a bit too far away from the old town for me personally as it was a good 30 min walk. There is the option of taking a bus and the bus stop is close to the apartmen. This was my second place to stay, the first being in the old town so it felt far for that reason. There are other place to explore in this part of town and the port is close by from where some boat trips leave and there are some beaches you can access but again it is a good walk to reach them by foot. The host was nice and helpful and dove myself and two other guests to the bus station when it was time to leave. The room I had was nice and big and had a small terrace with a view.
