I was attending a conference in ICC. awesome hotel- seems newly built. very clean. It was 10/10 stay. Definitely recommend. Good breakfast- but may be its good if the menu is changed daily.

Birmingham Beauty of a Hotel!
My stay was ideal for everything I needed. I enjoyed it so much I stayed an extra night. It was close to the train station, which was great for me.

Excellent
The staff was really friendly at check-in and were also helpful with directions. It was also close to the train station and made it easy to find and catch our train when we left. The room was a bit tight since we were using the couch as a bed(3 people in one room). But we didn't spend much time in the room so it wasn't a problem. Would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Good place to stay in Central Birmingham, UK
Two seniors on a road trip from California spent four nights at the Holiday Inn Express Birmingham. We took the train from the airport to the New Street Station and did not think it was a hard walk to the hotel – using Google maps – it took about 15 minutes, a little tricky the first time so some might want to take a taxi. We thought the hotel is in a convenient vacation for sightseeing, eating and shopping as we like to walk a lot. It is near the canals which make a nice evening walk. The room while not large, accommodated us nicely and the staff were always very friendly when we interacted. Our rate included breakfast which was ample although must admit after 4 days, we were ready for a change. The breakfast area can be a little crowded when hotel is full. Our only complaint is that after a day of sightseeing, we come back to the room late afternoon for a rest and our room, especially on the weekend, had not been made up yet. I think next time we should ask for it to be made up earlier. Wi-fi was good and accomodated three of our devices.

Terrific value for money in a lovely hotel
We loved Birmingham, and the Holiday Inn Express was about the best place we could have stayed to enjoy the city. The hotel was simply wonderful-classy, comfortable and genuinely nice. The breakfast (included) was outstanding. We have already recommended it to friends in London. Terrific value for money in a lovely hotel.
