Exceptional 10.0
Front desk staff was excellent. Housekeeping did a fantastic job everyday. Breakfast buffet was underwhelming and overpriced. Would recommend if free breakfast was included.

Fair 4.0
Not the best
The room itself looked okay as we came in, but there were a few things that we were not satisfied with. We had drinks put in the fridge, they didn’t chill. Had food put in there that needed to be refrigerated but couldn’t be because of that. The shower was not putting out enough pressure, and the ceiling above the shower is patchy and very unappealing. If I had to chose to stay in Williamsburg, I will not be staying here again. Disappointed to say the least.

Make sure your Do Not Disturb sign is on!!!!
Great hotel, clean, comfortable, convienient to Bush Gardens and Williamsburg Winery. Food offerings at the hotel/bar grill are minimal but there are plenty of options nearby. HOWEVER.... On the morning of check out we were laying in bed at 9am when there was a quite knock on the door and the door was opened by housekeeping, with no announcement, thankfully we had the latch on the door. Called the Front Desk to let them know what happended. They apologized and advised that they would let the head housekeeper know what happened. We were not very pleased since check out is at 11am. At 10am the same thing happened!!!! I called the front desk and asked what time check out was and if they routinely sent their house keeper into potentially occupied rooms without verifying status with the front desk. I was put on with the head housekeep who asked if I had my do not disturb on the door. Hmmm,. I was always under the impression from my industry experience that you wouldn't try to enter a room on check out day until after check out time or if the room was verfied checked out by the front desk. Friends who were staying in the same hotel and had a problem getting in with both keys were told that the key timed out and hadn't reset. Not sure why a key would have timed out if made properly at check in. I would stay here again, but definately make sure Do Not Disturb and latch are on the door when I am in the room.
