    Great Quick Stop
Beautiful hotel in a great location. Clean room and lobby, walking distance to restaurants and UCLA. Perfect for a quick business stop over.

It was our wedding anniversary. Also we went to a concert at UCLA the location was perfect to the venue. The hotel it self was wonderful and charming great for a celebration. The staff was great check in was so easy. I would stay again

Plaza La Reina was absolutely gorgeous and we were so excited to stay there! However, we were extremely disappointed when we asked for a wine opener because the one in the room did not work, and we were celebrating our anniversary which the concierge knew; and he never returned to our room with a new one. Also, the coffee maker in our room did not work. We understand that the Plaza La Reina just opened up, so we will stay there again with hopes that all will be well.

    Comfortable, large suites
I've stayed at Plaza La Reina several times already, and I'm usually very pleased with my stay. The suites are pretty large, and the hotel has wonderful amenities like free self-parking, in-unit washer & dryer, and a small kitchen in each suite. They were also kind enough to give me a complimentary upgrade me to a loft-style suite, which was very comfortable. There were only a couple of minor hiccups with this past trip: 1) I don't know if they changed their parking system, but I had a little bit of difficulty getting into the garage. Usually. I can push a button to open the gate when I pulled up to the garage, but I wasn't able to this time, and I wasn't able to press a button to call the front desk, so I had to look up the hotel's number on my phone and call the front desk to have them open the gate. My cell service can be iffy near the garage, but it luckily worked that time. 2) Housekeeping could be a little better. There were some hairs on top of the toilet lid, which was also a little sticky. One of the console tables also had some food or something stuck to the top, which should've been wiped down. The bath mat also had some stains on there. The shower is also a little awkward because the shower floor is flush with the bathroom floor, so you can't keep the bath mat in front of the shower because it moves whenever you open the shower door. Other than that, my stay was great!

Room was comfortable and very quiet. But when I called the desk to ask about a newspaper, it would have been nice if they had brought it up instead of telling me to pick it up.
