I am so happy I made a reservation at this wonderful Boutique Guesthouse! Even before checking in they were wonderful and quick to help me with my airport transfer. They also arranged airport transfer for when I was leaving. I loved my time there from check-in to check-out (and I didn't want to leave!). The welcome process was exceptional with Catarina and she gave me exceptional suggestions on how to spend my day and a half in Lisbon (I took up all her suggestions and was completely happy with all outcomes!). The entire guesthouse was very inviting, clean and comfortable and I loved the creative decor. My room was superb--roomy, clean, comfortable, secure and quiet. The location was centrally located and so convenient to everything. The breakfast was superb with local dishes that were fresh and tasty. The entire staff from Catarina, Joao and Dimitri were so welcoming and helpful. Of all my travels around the world, Tesouro da Baixa by Shiadu is definitely my favorite and am looking forward to going back as soon as possible!

Great Lisbon Stay!
Great stay in Lisbon! The guest house was lovely, the room was comfortable and the bathroom was great...wonderful shower! The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. The location was central to everything. Only suggestion is that they should update the maps that they provide to show the names of ALL streets.

Best staff!
While not your traditional hotel, it gave you everything you needed plus more. I’d say it’s the American equivalent of a bed and breakfast with an excellent location. The entrance between a shoe store is a bit quirky but makes it a part of the experience. The breakfast is amazing. What sets this hotel apart from the rest is the staff. Dimitri, Henrique, Catarina.... everyone! They’re all more than willing to act as you’re personal concierge and are on a first name basis with you. Something a large hotel chain definitely does not provide!

Wonderful visit
We were immediately greeted upon arrival and offered a refreshment while we were checked in. One of the staff members, Henry, sat with us and asked us our plans for Lisbon. He then offered up a map and helped orient us and noted other off map sites to see and places to visit. Our room was very clean and recently renovated but still with lots of charm of an older building like exposed ceiling beams. The breakfast area doubles as a nice hang out space in the evenings. Breakfast was well appointed including a delicious coffee maker - have the cappuccino! All in all a great stay.
