The Waters Country House, Ballyvaughan
Must stay property/near Cliffs of Moher
Wow is what I would use to describe this property! Tucked back in the woods and delightfully the feel of a get-away! The couple are very friendly and provide an amazing experience! The main lodge has several fireplaces going, games, books, WIFI, and a well-stocked self-serve honor-system bar! Breakfast was exquisite and I felt as if I were dining in a very expensive restaurant. The only feedback I would offer the property was the bed was less than expected and could use replacing. Truly, overall I would re-book this stay even if the beds were the same. It was magically delightful! A definite rebook should I be in the area again!

A wonderful old style hotel
We stayed in a huge room in the newest area. It might have been as large as our condo! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was terrific and the public rooms in the main house were very quaint .

Quiet country location
Overall my husband and I enjoyed our stay at The Waters. The owner and employees were very friendly and accommodating. Besides a breakfast buffet of fresh fruit, croissants, cereals, bread and rolls, cheeses and meat, you could have a full Irish breakfast cooked to order or a lesser version. The stone buildings were very nice; the interior was traditional yet quirky. The location was out in the country but not that far from Ballyvaughan- I think you would need a car.
