We’ve stayed at this property numerous times because of its affordability, location, and the amount of space you get for the price is great. However, this will be out last stay. The decor in the lobby is very nice, and aesthetically, it hits the mark as a “hip” hotel. The service is where things are severely lacking. This time upon check in we were put in a room that the door was falling off the hinges, the fan in the bathroom made an insanely loud noise, and the AC had a thick layer of disgusting dust on it. Once we complained, we were moved, but no offer of a coupon, discounted cafe credit, nothing. We noticed after day 1, our room
Was not serviced. We asked at the front desk, they said we needed to ask for it (no one told us this when we checked in), so we told them we want service. Over the next three days, we were never serviced. I called downstairs to request toilet paper, it never came. Next, every time I’ve been here (4-5) there is something wrong with the pool; this time was the same. No pool for the duration of the stay. Even if it was open, they have really missed the mark there as well - no loungers, no shade - great pool that never works. The patio of the cafe downstairs has chairs with no cushions, which it’s designed to have, they are incredibly uncomfortable without. Management apparently thinks that’s ok. It’s unfortunate, it could be a great place to stay, but the lack of service and appreciation of customers make it terrible.
