Comfortable and good location.
The hotel is in a good location, not very far from Kings Cross and it has been renovated or is in the process of renovation. The room was very modern and comfortable. The only downside was the wifi. It did not work at all in our room....which is very frustrating when you are an international traveler. We did not bother with the takeaway breakfast .

Should be 2 star, not 3 star hotel.
Cons 1. Checking in I was shocked to see they put your luggage in a common area and it’s “at your own risk.” There are dozens of luggage sitting by the lobby and I could have EASILY taken anyone’s luggage as I’m leaving town. For secure luggage storage you have to pay. It’s cheap, but I’m still shocked they don’t offer their patrons free luggage storage. 2. Room size was fine, it’s london so unless you’re dropping coin, expect a small room. However the room was cold and we could feel drafts from both our windows. Tried to turn on the heat all the way up and the heating unit was blowing warm air, but our room never warmed up. We picked up the room phone but there’s no instruction on how to call down to the lobby. Too lazy to climb downstairs and we figured it’s not going to be an easy solution if the heater isn’t working, so we wore layers and stayed under the covers. Bathroom is tiny tiny tiny, but we didn’t mind at all. 3. No elevators. The stairs are incredible narrow we had a had done time carrying our huge luggage up and down 3 flights. We were knocking to the walls. No big deal, it’s an old building and not much to do about that but just so you know. Pros Cheap hotel, Location was good. Staff are nice. Grab and go breakfast is convenient (granola bars, juices, fruit, muffins).

Close to Kings Cross
We got a good rate on a quadruple room, which was enough space for the two of us. If there were 4, it would be tight. The listing had breakfast included, the breakfast is a takeaway brown paper bag, with some apples and nutrition bars, it was fine but not what we expected for breakfast. The walk to Kings Cross was not bad and we had a lot of luggage, a few blocks, maybe 10 min. Staff was nice and printed our eurrostar tickets when requested.

Overall not too bad considering price and location. The lobby was under construction and there are no elevators so you'll be lugging your luggage up narrow staircase. Front desk wasn't very helpful. Room was small (to be expected at this price) okay and clean. Very convenient location near international train station.

Terrible towels, but very clean and tidy.
A small hotel still partially under construction, near King’s Cross/St Pancras. I chose it because it was close to the station, and it could accommodate three people (Emily had a friend join us). The staff has been very nice, allowing us to check in early which was really helpful because we’re lugging three suitcases around. The room is tiny; one person can barely turn around and the three of us make it a super tight squeeze. Everything looks very new and very clean. The bathroom is fine and the shower is actually larger than some I’ve experienced in the UK. However, there is only one towel hook – so what are the three of us supposed to do with our towels? Speaking of towels, I think there must be a mistake. My towel had stains and two holes in it. The worst hotel towel ever!! The hairdryer is interesting. It works very well, but it is in the hallway outside of the bathroom. I extended the cord as far as I could and I ended up having to dry my hair standing up. Strange.
