Located minutes from downtown Auburn. My only suggestion is that either you bring a bicycle or the resort begin to provide…the hill is steep to walk to and from town. The Ghana room is quiet, beautiful and peaceful.

Nice location, but no human touch
The Inn was charming and well appointed. However, we had the feeling of "being on our own". There was no welcoming human contact whatsoever. We got our key from a "digital box" upon arrival and found our room, which was quite nice and well designed. The entire time we felt as if we were in an abandoned, albeit well appointed, house and on our own. The usual "morning coffee" in the kitchen was a complete disappointment. Again, no one there to provide the usual morning java and chatter, it was do-it-yourself coffee maker and a bowl of sugar packets. I searched the fridge and found a hodge-podge of half used salad dressing, etc., but no milk. Again, it looked as if they didn't care. We don't know if this is a case of a freaked-out Covid/ lockdown owner/manager who is distancing themselves from the public for our "own good" or what, but it certainly left us feeling cold and unwelcome.

Read carefully. In house with shared kitchen /dining room/ living room. We had very small room with limited space around bed, one straight back chair, bathroom - large glass frosted window at shower where parking area headlights could be seen through - disconcerting, not relaxing. Never saw any staff - dirty dishes remained in sink - dishwasher not easy to operate.

Wonderful! The park Victorian is beautifully decorated and at the same time very comfortable. It was such a great one night get away from my husband and myself, I’m getting dressed to go down the hill and have an amazing meal, and walk right up to our beautiful and cozy room. We will definitely return.

Nice, but no cigar
This hilltop B&B provides the bed, but no breakfast or service of any kind. We saw one human being the whole time, but at least no ghosts. The place is well scrubbed, but regrettably most of the Victorian charm has been scrubbed right out of it. Bland is the word. Our corner room was the size of an NYC hotel room - tiny! View of old Auburn was nice, and Auburn itself is absolutely beautiful, especially in April!
