My stay at Hotel Nimma was a mixed bag - I stayed in a family room so that I would have kitchen facilities, and my room was very spacious, warm, and clean. It was very nicely styled in a kind of boho-industrial style and after 12 nights I became very attached to my room.
On the other hand, the location of Hotel Nimma is far from ideal - it is located completely out of town, with no restaurants or shops within easy walking distance. If you're hoping to experience central Nijmegen, this is not the place to stay.
The housekeeping was also a little bit of a mystery - someone definitely came into my room every day and removed my used towel, but sometimes they would replace it and other times they wouldn't, of the 12 nights, my bed was made 3 times and left the rest, with the linen not being changed for my entire stay. Some days my table was tidied, but my bins were never emptied until I sat them at the front door, overflowing... it was all very strange.
Additionally, the wifi worked very intermittently with my phone, and when I advised staff of this, was told this was a common issue - which is far from ideal.
The TV also stopped working for the last 3-4 days of my trip, which staff were aware of but couldn't advise when it would be fixed.
Ultimately, this hotel was incredibly cheap compared to other hotels in Nijmegen, and so on a budget provided a very comfortable room with greater facilities than any other hotel for the same price - but it definitely had its limitations.
