Nicer than capsule, good value near Tokyo station
I wanted to stay near Tokyo station to catch an early Shinkansen. First cabin is a good value, and it is close to the station. Cabins are much bigger than capsules; I had tons of room. The public bath is reasonably nice; I didn’t have any trouble with waiting for elevators but I can imagine it would be busy sometimes. Noise was bad. Yes, I used earplugs. But two guys came in late together and were having a conversation. And in the morning, no one heeded the rule of no Audible alarms. I carefully switched my phone to vibrate alarm. But others who didn’t also ignored theirs and they would go off for several minutes. In my haste to avoid missing the train, I left my iPhone charger and a pair of underwear. Sadly the staff only found the latter. If you can handle noise and really need to be near Tokyo station, first cabin is probably a good choice. It was not quite right for me.

First Cabin, First Rate
The best thing about staying here, the night before one's departure from Tokyo, is that the Akakusa Line is only a few hundred feet from the hotel's entrance. Whichever of the two airports that you are departing from, the Akakusa Line goes in opposite directions to both airports. The only drawback is that there only two showers available for the entirety of male guests that stay there. And if you are a light sleeper, some of the guests tend to arrive late and/or depart early, keeping you awake. However, for the price and the service, as well as easy access to the airports, it's well worth it.

Upgrade your capsule stay!
I was looking for a cheap night to stay in Tokyo but capsule hotels were little scary too me. This was then perfect solution as a solo traveler. Floors are separated into female and make floors and you’re given a safety deposit box in your pod for personal items. The sleeping area is clean and quiet. You pull down a fabric curtain to your pod, so you can hear everyone when they walk around or moving around the area. If you’re a light sleeper, it could’ve difficult. I slept in a “business class” pod and thought I had plenty of room. The pictures of the place are exactly as I expected. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location next to Tokyo station can’t be beat. The common area/lounge is very quiet, so it you’re looking to find a place to talk on the phone, it’ll be hard. Shared bathroom/shower areas were fine. Very clean. They even had shared Shiseido products for you to use. Included all the amenities you would need: towels, slippers, robe, shampoo, soap, hairbrush, toothbrush, shavers, body lotions, etc. Overall, would highly recommend! Will stay again if I’m traveling to Tokyo!
