Great for walking & sight seeing
Unique location on an island on the Mississippi that's within walking distance of restaurants on St. Anthony Main, Stone Arch Bridge, Mill City Museum, and the Guthrie Theater (plus half a mile from Whole Foods). Hotel service was good, but I had to pay for the room on arrival (they said they couldn't run the card I used to book with hotels.com).

Historic hotel, hidden gem. Check it out
Construction on street right outside my window. Jack hammering at 7 am. Not good, but the hotel can't do anything about that.

Their bar hours are awful...not open even on Fri eve about 1030pm. When I did get to try them the next afternoon, found the prices very high. Otherwise a nice quiet and interesting hotel.
