Not worth the money
This was the most uncomfortable hostel I stayed at. It was extremely hot and people were in the courtyard until the early morning. When I asked the front desk to either enforce the quiet hours or supply a fan so we close the windows they did neither. Spend a couple dollars more and get a better hostel.

Exceptional 10.0
A great place to stay.
My stay was great, absolutely no complaints. Do keep in mind that the rooms do not have lockers and if you want to secure your belongs there are lockers in the reception area. Some rooms are also located in a different building about 50 meters down the road; this is where I was staying. Their are plenty of toilets and showers. The bar has a great selection of beer and the female bar tender can definitely help you choose some great Belgium beer. I would stay here again. Also, one more thing, it's about 5 minutes by metro to the North train station, or about 15-20 minute walk. Very close to public transportation.

very nice stay
It was an easy checkin, clean and one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in.

Nice location, lousy WiFi
I was a little nervous about staying in this hostel because of some negative reviews. One reason I booked it was because it said it had WiFi through out the building. They do have wifi on all floors but good luck getting it in your room. I was there on business and had to go to cafes down the road just to type some emails. I hope they can strengthen their signal. Also I hoping for a much more talkative staff. When I checked in they asked for my name and had me fill out an information card (standard check in process) but that is where it stopped. They didn't talk to me at all except for asking if I would like a map. I would have appreciated some small talk as well. I understand that I was probably the 1000th check in for the day but don't make me feel like that. Treat me like I am the only person you care about. Just some food for thought. I would stay there again based on Price and location

Ups and Downs
Initially when I came into the hostel I was greeted by a very friendly woman at the front desk who explained everything clearly and was very helpful. Next thing I tried to do was get onto the wifi to let my family and friends know I had arrived. You can log in but the wifi didn't work for me for 6 hours that day! It's super slow and not meant for the amount of people in the hostel. There is a locker room but it is only in the main building and if you don't have a lock there's a €10 deposit. Pros: I loved the lobby and bar area. Although it's a bit worn and outdated it's a great place to sit back relax and drink a beer. The breakfast is included but it's very simple, some toast, cereal, a few deli meats and coffee/juice. There are some chocolate spreads and cream cheese and jam for the toast. It's by no means filling or satisfying but it's there. Cons: The biggest disappointment was the room. I was across the street in a 4 person room and the sheets I was given had holes and the blanket they give you I'm sure hasn't been washed for ages so bring your own blanket. The showers and the bathroom in general is very dark and not so clean. Although you see the cleaning staff around the place is not very clean. Also the building had a weird smell of urine in the halls. There was also no heat in my room so I had to sleep with my jacket on! It must've only been 60 degrees in the room all night. You do get what you pay for, however the hostel is not up kept and it's in a bad neighborhood
