Nice lockation, but not comfortable rooms.
Pros: Good location, 10 min walk to White House and tourist areas, clean, nice staff. Cons: Very small rooms with the small windows, the worst mattress I ever see in the hotel. I honestly wasn't able to sleep for all 3 nights, it is not a mattress - it is a stone. My husband complain the same. Because of the location and price (we paid $75 per night) I think this is OK, but I will not stay here again because of the most horrible bed we had.

Great For What I Wanted, Not For Everyone
Pros: The location was perfect. It was walking distance from the National Mall and from the business I was there to visit, and two blocks from a Metro station. There are several restaurants and coffee shops within a block. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the shower head was mounted to the ceiling for those of us who sometimes deal with short showers. No problems with the wifi. Check in and check out were quick and painless. The Cons: The walls are very thin. The noise from the neighbors wasn't bad, but there were police/ambulance sirens going off all night. The ironing board is half-sized and doesn't have legs, so it has to be propped on the desk. The site said breakfast was included but they only had coffee. There's no dresser for those staying several nights, just a closet with four hangars and a small shelf. The room lights were pretty dim, except in the bathroom, where the light switch and (very loud) fan were connected, so if you flipped on the light at night you were fully awake 20 seconds later. For what I needed it was great, but it's certainly not for everyone.

Great place to stay for a reasonable price
Downtown DC hotel with a few amenities, an economical price, clean rooms, and friendly staff. Near many restaurants, training centers, federal offices, and the capital. Overall, a very satisfying experience.
