OK hotel with weird omissions
An odd place. Pretty good neighborhood and rooms small but comfortable. But no coffee makers or tea kettles in the room. And when I went to the desk to ask for change of a $20 to tip the maid, I was told that there was no cash there. So I offered to put a tip on my credit card and was told that couldn't be done. As such, I left a lousy tip, which is something I never do.

Quaint & Convenient
Service at the hotel was excellent. My partner and I were very happy to be able to check in early! The room was snug but comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the A/C (very important for summer in DC) and the proximity to restaurants and The Mall. I loved how close this hotel was to a metro stop that took us from/to the airport. My partner did complain about the lack of soundproofing in the hotel, however, so for light sleepers, that may be a concern. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again!

Quaint, affordable and convenient!
Great location for me. Nice no frills hotel. Sometimes a bit challenging to get through to the front desk but is a nice clean hotel.

Entrance smells bad. Public areas look really old. Room is in good condition and nice, although small.
