We really enjoyed our stay at the Gairloch Hotel. The location was perfect, for the last night our journey on the NC500. The staff were great, friendly and helpful, we also had the company of some lovely locals and evening entertainment. The food was great. Thanks for a great stay. Kr Gary & Hayley McLean

Nice room, lovely sea view, bathroom very nice and clean, staff very helpful on check in- communal areas a bit tired and could do with a refresh. Evening meal was fine, bar area wants setting up to feel a little less like sitting around a huge dance floor! Lovely space but needs using better

A nice, classic-style hotel and probably one of the larger hotels in the town. It’s conveniently located within walking distance of Co-op and Morrisons Daily. The hotel can be very busy, especially with coach groups, but it was surprisingly quiet at night. The staff could have been friendlier, though. Overall, a pleasant and convenient place to stay.

From arrival to departure our stay was excellent. Our room had obviously been recently renovated. It was very tastefully decorated and the bathroom was fresh and modern with a large walk in shower. Our evening meal in the restaurant was delicious and very reasonably priced and the buffet breakfast was great. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.

Great place. Nice, right at the water. Lots to see around it

8/10 Very good

The hotel is in a lovely location, close to the water, which is definitely one of its best features. However, the hotel itself feels quite dated and would really benefit from a refresh. The rooms, décor and facilities look tired, and updating them would make a big difference. With some refurbishment and modernisation, this could be a really lovely place to stay, especially given its great location.

Stopped at the hotel for a night. Great location and view. Room was clean and bed was comfy. Hotel is a little dated, but that is part of it's charm, though room could do with a little touch up. Breakfast was a buffet, had variety but lacked quality for the cooked part.

Room needed a good cleaning and updating. Mold on the blind I. The bathroom and the paper peeling off the wall. Room was a good size.

Nice location with the beach view but didn’t understand the need for dinner or breakfast reservations as at least for breakfast the dining room was very empty. Room was clean and roomy.

Newly refurbished room, so a nice fresh space with great views of the coast and comfortable bed. Shower had great pressure, although the toiletries dispenser kept falling off the wall which was a bit of a hazard. Bar area was spacious but nice and warm on a cool day.
