Great value for money
A lovely property, great service and nice breakfast. Great value for money. I don't like foam mattresses though so didn't sleep that well.

Country retreat
Main building great, room bathroom great and clearly new- but the rest was a bit unloved. Felt like an off site management team without an eye for detail. Garden could be so nice but was a mess; bedroom needed a revamp - old furniture, threadbare carpet, cheap TV etc. Food also disappointing. Most important, and why I won’t stay again though is the poor / intermittent internet - be aware if you are a business traveler.

Bank Holiday Getaway
Our accommodation was pleasant and we had a comfortable stay.
The Service in the Bar however was a let down. We had a drink on our arrival which was ok although spoilt by the foul language of a couple of customers engaging in conversation with the Manager we think which was not professional.
We did not visit the Bar again until Sunday due to other plans. We asked for a table for 2 only to be told they were fully booked and that was the end of the conversation no offer of perhaps a later time. So we just walked out and decided to drive somewhere else which didn’t disappoint.
The Inn is the only pub/restaurant for miles, some staff were more interested to engage with friends rather than leave a good impression on outside guests.
The Inn has so much potential and the location was perfect for us however we will not be returning.

Manor House Inn
Room a little tied, needs some general maintenance, toilet door doesn't shut, can't open bathroom window, toilet brush filthy, main window is rotting out. Linen clean and smelt nice but room rather dusty. Staff very friendly and pleasant. We had a meal our first night but they had run out of 3 things on a limited menu so choice not great. Breakfast was fabulous, but to avoid delays in the morning you need to book the night before and each night of your stay, which is not a problem. Very pretty quiet village and hotel very pretty with bags of character
