Poor hotel, deserves proper renovation. It used to be 5* once upon a time. Poor breakfast offered (low quality food). Swimming pool OK, not very much clean. Restaurant near swimming pool had a nice food and good size portions.

Batumi stay
Hotel is in a terrible condition. We learned upon check in that it was used during second wave of COVID-19 as government sponsored quarantine hotel for Georgian nationals returning to the country. It is still adverted as 5*, but it is actually 2/3*. We have also learned that hotel will be closed in September for general renovation. Breakfast offer was very poor, served by people who speak only Georgian (some of them Turkish language), no english, no russian. They would grab what you wish from self service table and give you on the plate (COVID19 measures) however nowhere was written what is on offer. There is a swimming pool in the hotel. Beach is far (more than 500 m walk). There is SPA in the hotel, however we didn't use it. There were no international TV channels offered (only Georgian and Turkish).

Worst Hotel Experience
This was the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel, from the customer service, to false marketing about the pools being operational, to horrible maintenance to poor communication skills....the list goes on. I would avoid this place at all costs.

My first story.
I am a active online buyer but I probably had written only half a dozen reviews online but this hotel requires a speciak treatment. First of all as I learned from locals in Batumi this hotel had been used as quarantine hotel for covid patients. When I first arrive there there was only a receptionist and a couple of guys I don't know with what occupancy. I waited to be checked in since there was confusing times in the hotel. Then I arrived my room but my key card did not work then a guy with very low english skills came and open the door and said while smiling "Ok?" by the way I knew he was smiling because he wasn't also following Covid regulations just lile the most crew. The problem at that point was that I was unable to lock my door. When I connected recepcionist she said she cannot do anything because there is problem with the system. Anyway, we managed to lock my door but now I cannot open it everytime I want to go in to my room someone has to come with me and open the door. They called "technic service" a couple of time and the technicians only tried my card and after seeing it doesn't work just as I claimed they said "no work", opened the door and left. But I have to mention this is not the fault of crew since they are really friendly and respectful even the receptionist helped me handle some of my paper works. The are really just outnumbered.
