Great Location, Lovely Staff, Clean Room
This hotel is very new, hence everything looks very comfortable in terms of lighting, interior design, and furniture. Just a 6 minute walking distance from Santa Lucia Metro Station, 8 minute to Nepture Fountain, 10 minute to La Moneda, and 12-15 minute to Plaza de Armas, excellent location. Hotel staff was warm and lovely, the day we arrived there was pouring rain and we were soaking wet, she immediately did some arrange for us so that we could clean ourselves and freshen up. Nice breakfast, with descent options. Room itself was clean and tidy, not exactly spacious but good enough for two big suitcases, very ibis style. The only thing didn't work out during our stay was the Netflix on the TV didn't seem to function. But overall I'd say new hotels are always worth a try! You won't regret it!

A good basic hotel, well located, modern and clean
I stayed at Novapark for a week. I booked based on the price mainly. It is a basic hotel so there's no minibar/fridge in the room but the rooms are modern and very clean. My room was a twin on the 8th floor. There was no view for me but this didn't bother me - I needed the hotel to sleep in and that's all really. The rooms are small but seemingly quite soundproof - I never heard the people either side of me once. There was some noise from the street/neighbouring buildings which must've travelled through the windows but you're in a city centre - you come to expect some street noise. The bathroom was clean and there were toiletries left when needed. The shower was great! (No bath in my room just a shower). My only issues were at check out, they tried to charge me for breakfast again but I had already paid this on the day I had it (only had one breakfast, didn't book it with room). They eventually let it go as I was unwilling to pay for it twice. (It wasn't worth the one payment never mind two - I was pleased I didn't pay extra for it to be included with my stay as I would rather go out and get some breakfast somewhere nearby and pay less/have better food). The wifi was also pretty slow at times but it did the job. The housekeeping team were lovely and friendly and always did a good job of cleaning my room. During my stay, I encountered no English speaking staff but I can speak some Spanish so maybe I just missed out on it. A great location close to 2 metros and shops.

Good hardware, but sofware need serious overhaul
Facilities-wise, this hotel is about as good as one may expect for this price range & central location, though the neighborhood could be slightly intimidating for some. What disappoints here is the service. Breakfast staff (2-3 at any time) are more keen on talking among themselves, rather than clearing up dirty plates or even tables after guests have finished eating. When we booked an airport transfer the night before, we were told this would cost 20k pesos, and that the car is big enough for 4 pax. The next morning, what showed up was a regular small black & yellow cab, which we could have just got from a waiting taxi line just 20 steps away & which could barely fit a third person, let alone 4 bags, if there were 4 of us instead of me & my wife. Despite my protestations, the lady at the reception (Maria) insisted that this is the normal car for all airport transfers. When i told her about the car big enough for 4 pax promised the night before, i was told this was what we got since there were only 2 if us. The taxi driver seems caught up in something he would rather not have, and gave us apoligetic looks/shrugs of the shoulder. The one bright light in the hotel's service experience is the very nice polite young man at the bar who ever so kindly filled my hot water flasks, which u needed for my medicine before going to bed and apologized fir keeping me waiting each time he had to attend to bar drink orders first.

New hotel, nothing worked
We arrived around noon, left our luggage at the reception because no room was available yet, which was fine. The hotel is brand new, stylish lobby. Parking was not on hotel grounds, but one block away in a public parking lot. It was without cost at least. When we returned around midnight the receptionist had no idea we were coming or in which room we were supposed to be. It took him 20 minutes, a phone call and search in the computer to give us a room key. The key didn't open the room we were told - so the receptionist tried the key on at least five other rooms until one door opened, and told us this was actually our room... The room had two small twin beds instead of the agreed king size bed. The lock of the door didn't work. The shower had only a drizzle coming out. Overall the room was new and seemed clean, but with some traces of recent construction work, like dust/dirt in bathroom corners. Checking out the next morning we were asked to pay, although we had already paid via Expedia. The hotel staff in the morning was very friendly, they did apologize for the issues and offered us a coffee. But we are not coming back.

AC didn’t work in three diff rooms, not hospitable
Two major issues with this Hotel...first was the air conditioner was able to cool the room, the room never got below 27 degrees. We tried 3 rooms, all the same. Desk clerk said all the rooms the same. Other issue was the bar policy was to not let you take your drink up to your room. Bartender said it was because they were afraid I’d steal the glass!!! Really? I found it very insulting!! I’m not a thief...I see glasses every day and never steal any. Moronic place. Don’t stay here...maybe they are like this and will steal your things!! Also, when you walk into Hotel no one ever looked up and smiled or said hello. Very unusual. No hospitality here. Also no breakfast provided and nothing close by. Starbucks 15 min away.
