Good location, okay condition
Good location, okay condition, we had an annoying noise coming from either the floor above or the AC, continued for both nights. The "spa" is over exaggerated, more like a public swimming pool.

Moved to another hotel
We arrived at the hotel to be told we couldn't stay there. Through broken English we got told there was a problem with the air conditioning in some of the rooms so we couldn't stay. They put us in Mercure in the old town. It was a good solution but we would have liked to stay at this hotel for the pool and spa.

Very Good 8.0
Excellent, with a few minor issues.
Hotel was generally really nice. Only a couple of minor things let it down for me, some of which can’t be helped! Location was excellent, Staff were generally helpful, room was clean, warm and a nice place to be, breakfast was good. Little things that let it down for me were there were a lot of kids around and a lot of noise pretty much all of the time, made having a relaxing drink in the bar difficult, the pool and sauna were packed with kids and families, the air con in our room was a bit temperamental - made my first night uncomfy and ended up just turning it off altogether and having the window open (which was ok because hotel is in a quiet part of the city). Short distance from the main town, but in an area that is undergoing a lot of building work, so isn’t the prettiest at the moment... Staff were clearly very busy as we went at new year, so could tell they were rushed off their feet a lot - but could have been slightly more smiley! On the whole, I would stay at this hotel again, but out of the holidays when it’s less busy and less children running around.
