Palazzo Rosso, Poznan
Clean, warm and quiet! We chose a patio view room to avoid any noise from the street but this time of the year (October) a room with street view wouldn't be noisy and it would have been a little more bright. For a 5 member family the room was comfortable but there wasn't enough space for the suitcases and clothes. The hotel is situated in the nicest part of the old town, close to cafes and restaurants and 200m from the bus/tram stop. Due to pedestrian roads taxis couldn't pick us up or leave us at the front door and we had to walk not more than 150m.

Great breakfast!
Hotel was in perfect location; in center of town; easy for sightseeing. Only issue we had is the windows would not close properly and we could hear outside noise. Other than that, hotel clean and comfy with great service. Excellent breakfast!

Not good for summer
No A/C. Enough said. They will give you a fan (without an extension cord at first). And ask you to open the windows. Just not adequate for any hotel in this day and age when split ductless units are so cheap. Especially in Europe. Europeans need to understand the concepts of hospitality, A/C and ice cubes. All inexpensive and easy to provide.

The place to stay
A great place to stay in Poznan, just two blocks from the main square (surrounded by fun sidewalk and plaza cafes), across the street from the most beautiful church (with frequent organ concerts), a couple of blocks from shopping, museums, etc. Generous breakfast buffet and a “happening” restaurant downstairs. Clean well-tended rooms Polite helpful staff Everything you’d want
