Hotel Pedro Marron is centrally-located, nice and recently-remodeled, clean, seemingly quite secure, and the owners Vito and Vita were super-pleasant. Parking was provided, the room was decent-sized, furnished nicely, and provides you with everything you need (TV, internet, soaps, lotions, fridge). However, it's location makes it a bit challenging to get a good night's rest. There is somewhat of a one-way oval in Las Terrenas leading into the downtown area, and back out, and like many places in the D.R., it's like a racetrack oval. The motos, 4-wheelers, and the like are loud and non-stop, and having a room toward the front of the hotel makes for a long and unsettled night. Maybe it's a bit better toward the back, I don't know, but if you're a light-sleeper like me, good luck! Take this quaint little place out of the oval and into the outskirts of the city and it's a gem!
