The Georgetown House, Washington
Digital Inn Cuts Costs in the Heart of Georgetown
This is a hidden gem in the heart of Georgetown! First off, if you are looking for a concierge, front desk, etc (and the expense and smarm that comes with those), this is not for you! If however you are a regular DC/Gtown visitor and are comfortable with technology and self management, you should stay here and save at least $200 a night! The main entrance is encrypted, specific visitor key-coded, as is your room. No humans involved. Upon arrival my room was spacious, crisp, clean and comfortable, and I had absolutely no concerns with safety given the digital security in place. Very smart concept... And it shows in the rates. Doormen... who needs em? PS. great location on the Gtown canal just a half block off M.

Lovely and centric
Check in process was super easy. The place is in a great location next to everything in Georgetown. The room we got was a loft. Only thing we had to get used to was the low ceilings in the top floor. Apart from that, very clean and easy. Great spot!

Very cute place in an excellent location in Georgetown. Super clean, well decorated. The one staff member was nice and accommodating. But there isn’t a front desk, which is a little odd. It would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room, but the room is also pretty small. Also, the walls are thin so you can here everything if your neighbors are up and about at a weird hour. I paid the extra money eh to have a canal view, but I wouldn’t recommend it (plus the canal is being worked on and is dry). Overall a nice stay.

Great area, the hotel is good for someone who does not need a lot of services at the hotel (no bar, restaurant, or staff), but it's nice, quiet, and in a great area
