My room in the lower level had a dank basemnet feeling. probably upstairs rooms do not have this problem. But overall, very expensive for a tiny dank room.

AirBnB feel (in a good way)
The self-check-in process at the guesthouse was weird but efficient and easy. (Creepy that the machine pulls up my passport info when it only scanned my drivers license!). Great location, super cute room, good functionality. I'm glad I was traveling solo though - it was a small room and bathroom, and if my husband had been with me, we'd have been bumping into each other constantly. Very updated and good quality and tasteful decor (although if it was me, I'd revisit the choice of orange-red walls in a white-and-silver tile bathroom .... but the rest of the color choices throughout were otherwise quite soothing and tasteful), plus all the little things that make a functional difference - desk, several normal wood hangers, luggage rack, AC with a remote control, hair dryer with attachments, plenty of nice soft towels, easy to find the wifi login info, good wifi strength, several places to put my things (borderline in the bathroom, but I have a lot of stuff). I called to clarify my arrival time (unnecessary, but I get paranoid), and I spoke to a nice, professional person. But when I arrived, there was no front desk or anything. I did receive an email prior to my trip about the check-in process. I'm not complaining, it was just kinda weird and seemed very, I dunno, futuristic and/or a front for some intelligence agency. I guess that's the world we live in now. If you can self-checkin at the airport, you can do this no problem.

Exceptional 10.0
Tidy, Great value, Exceeded expectations.
Basically "self service". Never saw or interacted with the staff. I was there 2 nights, so my room wasn't touched during my stay. Great location, great price, clean and comfy, fabulous value. I was prepared to accept much less for the price, but it was 100% fine. Room was a bit small, but still larger than many European / Scandinavian hotels I've stayed in recently.

Very Good 8.0
Nice, convenient, well priced Georgetown hotel
Overall a nice, clean hotel. Great location. Easy to get to, and I had no problems with the kiosk or the lock system. It was kind of nice not to worry about someone waiting for me at the desk. Three cons - low water pressure, no instructions on how to let them know you are checking out, and a scent diffuser in the room. For some people that would be a pro, but I have allergies.

Still love this place!
The location is perfect with beautiful modern decor. The check-in kiosk is very modern as well but it would not scan my ID so I had to input myself. Everything was clean except for an insect that emerged while showering. Even worse the water was not draining from the bath. TV was mainly Spanish channels and very blurry. It’s our 3rd time staying there, and it’s the first time we have encountered so many issues. Overall my husband and I love the Georgetown House.
