Fine hotel with great staff.
We stayed in a suite which I measured to be about 15x5.5 meters. Simply huge. The breakfast was great and the staff in the restaurant was just so friendly and kind. At the reception we had the pleasure to talk with all the people on duty. Great people. Special thanks to Armanda for her unique way to interact with the guests. If you’re considering this hotel, don't let the 800 meters to the center of Santa Maria keep you from booking it. The distance is easily walked or a taxi can pick you up or take you for 2-3 euros. The small beach behind the hotel has a lot of rocks, but the one 200 meters away by the fitness equipment is great. All in all a great experience and I highly recommend this hotel.

Loved Budha Hotel. The room and bathroom was clean and spacious! Melanie and Amanda really went beyond and above to accommodate us. The breakfast was made to order and delicious! We were a 15 minute walk to beaches, shops and restaurants. They had plenty of pool lounge chairs and beds. They even helped us book a last minute excursion! I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sal.

Amazing hotel, food and location. Located at the quiet end of the hotel strip with a beautiful pool, clean cabanas, and on the beach. Also only a 5 minute walk to all of the other restaurants, shops and bars in town. Although, we found the food at the hotel to be even better than that of the other restaurants, and at the same price. We also opted for the late checkout for the midnight flight back to Lisbon.

The hotel and surrounding area was immaculate. Safe and sound with just a 10 minute walk into town. I’d walk late at night and never felt danger. More importantly there was always security there to greet me when I returned. The food was good and the staff was sweet!
