Hotel is reliant on view but otherwise substandard
Do not stay here! Instead opt to come for lunch or a coffee on a day trip from Tbilisi using a tour or GO trip. - husband got food poisoning - hotel offered ‘sparkling water’ by solution - charged for an espresso at breakfast! - gym radiator was on, absolutely roasting and difficult to use - we were allowed a free upgrade but didn’t get this due to hotel being full but we cannot validate if this is fair or not - I asked for an omelette with vegetables at breakfast but this came with cheese then they rushed out the new one which was severely underdone..given the food poisoning issue this was worrying - my husband was criticised from ordering the same thing that gave him food poisoning. This was a chicken sandwich and low priced and all he could stomach - he couldn’t face going further afield as wasn’t feeling well - had to have dinner next to a buffet of trippers and shoved in a corner - shower was leaking and didn’t have enough towels to prevent getting this everywhere - we had an early check in but our room was an hour late to enter on the standard time - we also had a free bottle of wine for 2, this was a 175ml bottle so barely enough for 1 - smoke came from other balcony’s into our room (we wanted to let my husband get some air as he was poorly) - manager tried to compensate us for all of the above by giving us a poster… felt like an insult

I was dreaming about the visit of this hotel. View is just incredible, probably even better than I Imagined, but I was very much surprised about the facility.... It is on the level of 3 stars. Minuses: - no TV in the room -no safe in the room -no closet (or any shelves for clothes) in the room -no mirror in the room ( only small one in bathroom) -control between hot and cold water is very annoying -the shower is very bad made - it is very small, there is no any barrier for water and after the shower the water is all around the place -The pool is getting old -Staff is really trying but you can see how many people are very new and not very professional Pluses: -Incredible view! I could sit on the terrace forever! -Hot tube was a great thing to enjoy cold evenings -Breakfast is excellent ( sadly champagne is only during the weekend) I think this hotel has everything to be perfect but needs some work for that

I booked a room at this property after great reviews from my friends and amazing recommendations. My experience however was totally different and I found the staff very inhospitable, especially the security team. From the moment I arrived, the security and bell boys were downright rude. They were annoyed that I stopped the car in front of the hotel to unload my bags and were rushing me to go to the parking (maybe because of my skin colour, I don’t know). I was driving a rental car from Tbilisi to Kazbegi. I parked my car at the hotel, and provided my car plate number during check-in. However, there was a ‘function’ planned for the next day and all guests had to move their cars from the parking lot. Instead of calling me directly, since I had provided my car number, they called the police to get my car removed, who then called the rental owner, who then called me. And the staff extremely unhelpful to provide an alternate parking and I was told to park on a hillside next to the hotel, where most sedan couldn’t park. The next day, when I was checking out, they did not even allow me to get my car inside to load my bags and I had to drag my luggage for 100 meters to exit gate. I had specifically asked about parking when booking and if it was not available, due to some function for a higher order guest of the hotel, they should have at least informed the clueless second rated guests who are staying at the hotel about unavailability of parking, or at least provided an alternate.
