October 2018: Still bedbugs in top floor room
Thanks to other reviewers here, on Google and on bedbug registry website, we were vigilant about checking this top floor room after a slow check-in process late at night. Mattresses and bedding appeared relatively new. But after a few minutes we saw bedbugs crawling on the wall and the corner bed. With flashlight, we found more bedbugs hiding in the dark wood beams of the room. We got a refund from and left. Too bad because room and location seemed otherwise okay. As it was after midnight, said they could not help find another room because of the system booking time cutoff or some such thing. We had to wait for the reception staff to call another hostel down the street for availability.

Great location and nothing else
Place was not clean. Stayed there for 5 nights but the room was not cleaned nor the bed made. The only plus point for this place is the location

Exceptional 10.0
Very convenient location, close to Old Town. Friendly and helpful staff. Towel is free (quite a few hostels in Europe charge for bath towels). Close to subway and tram stops. WiFi is great during non-busy times, and good enough during busy times.

Quirky, funky cheap place near everything
Well, it would be hard to call this place 'typical'. It was definitely quirky and that's what I loved about it. I got a single room with a bathroom and it was more like a studio apartment. The weird stuff I didn't mind: there were actually three beds in the room (they used it sometimes as a three person room), the doors connecting the other apartments next to it didn't lock but had big tables in front of them, not all of the lights in the room worked. I loved the gorgeous building, the size of my room, the fact that it had a refrigerator and microwave and kettle. The location absolutely cannot be beat; 3 blocks from the main train station and walking distance to EVERYTHING. It's a quiet neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurants around. So, if you like eccentric and cheap, you will probably love this room like I did. if you need everything like it's a big hotel chain only cheaper, this won't work for you.

Simply the best choice
An absolutely amazing hostel, not normally a hostel person but I can tell believe how great it was, super clean, friendly staff and perfect location! Could not ask for more honestly! Stayed for 6 nights and it was so so comfortable, easily walkable to old town ( 10 min) and great shopping, dining places around. It's super great for international bus users, only 5 min walk to the central bus/station. When I'm back in Prague ( which I will), this is the place I'm booking.
