Fun in Santiago!
It was a very comfortable stay! They upgraded my room and I was pleased! It was a nice location, close to many things. The drawback was a sewer smell from bathroom, really strong. I don't think it was the hotels issue, maybe old pipes? I also found it odd coffee was not included with breakfast. Very courteous staff. I would stay again

Nice boutique hotel close to Bellavista
Excellent boutique hotel in the Bellavista area. Very close to downtown, walking distance to many excellent restaurants / bars. The hotel only has four parking spaces so plan on parking across the street at one of the underground garages ($25 for overnight parking). Breakfast was simple and well prepared. Decent wifi. Room was clean and good size. Staff was very helpful.

Raul is the worst!
The hotel is nice but the service by the front desk, Raul, was the worst I've ever experienced. It started off on a bad foot as soon as we got there. He didn't get up to help with or bags or even open the door, he was just sitting at the front desk doing nothing. There was an elderly couple leaving soon after we got there and he gave them the same kind of service, I got up and opened the door for them them carried the lady's bag down to the sidewalk for her. Then when we got back to our check-in he said they had to move our reservation to their sister hotel two blocks away because they were over booked. He said he meant to tell our cab before they drove off but want wick enough. He never made any attempt to. He also said we'd have to walk over and check it out if we wanted to but we could leave the bags there and get them after, real nice. We did walk over, about twice as far as he said it would be and about 90 out. We were very upset at this point. The staff at the other hotel was vey nice, Christian, but the room wad not anything close to what we paid for so we declined. He said he understood and apologized sincerely. He didn't want for us to leave unhappy so I think he called someone else and got our original room back. When we got back to the other hotel Raul was still there and you could tell he was upset that Christian went over his head and got us back our room. The rest of the visit went well and the rest of the staff was nice but I'd never recommend it.
