Very Good 8.0
This is a nice boutique hotel, just a few blocks away from Plaza de Armas, which is why I chose it. I thought I was doing a good thing by choosing the room with the balcony (because who doesn't like a good view), but it turns out my room was right under the hotel restaurant / bar. Two nights of my stay I had to sleep with earplugs in because the restaurant was so loud and rowdy. Also, I had a non-smoking room, however when the heat kicked on, the room instantly smelled like a giant cigarette. I don't know if someone had smoked in there before, or if it was pulling air from where people were smoking, in any case, it drove my allergies crazy. Other than those things, the hotel is fine. The breakfast was really good (coffee so so), and the staff were generally helpful. The location of the hotel is awesome though, so I'd stay here again, just not in the room with the balcony!

Great location, walking distance to sights, food
We booked the Executive Double room. The room was much smaller than I was expecting based on the pictures, but sufficient for our needs, and was nicely appointed and very cozy. The "balcony" was just a very narrow strip overlooking a dingy and smelly alley, so not really usable. However, the benefit of facing the alley rather than the street was that it was mostly quiet. We were on the 7th floor and as other reviews mention, there was definitely occasional noise coming through the floor from the roof bar above. Since this was winter and the bar wasn't open, the noise wasn't bad, but I could imagine it being a problem during other seasons. A lower floor is probably a better choice. There was a lot of "plumbing" noise however, which might happen on all the floors. We used earplugs at night and mostly weren't bothered by it. The bathroom was surprisingly large, well lit, and thoughtfully designed, with a huge shower. A nice set of toiletries was provided on the first day, but nothing was ever restocked during our three night stay. I'm sure we could have gotten more shampoo and conditioner if we had asked, but at a place this nice I wouldn't expect to have to ask. Although this is a wine-themed hotel, there are no corkscrews provided in the room (although there is wine). It turns out that you have to call the front desk and they send the sommelier to open the wine for you. The best part of the hotel was the location, which was just about ideal.

Unbeatable location and hotel
Stayed here in May for 4 nights/5 days while on a worm trip. I really liked this boutique hotel. Staff - friendly and helpful. Someone was always there and they were bilingual. Easy check-in. I booked through here, I didnt have to leave a credit card on file with the front desk. Room - Beautiful, luxurious and clean, great toiletry items. AMAZING shower and comfortable bed. My only 2 critiques were there was no natural light because my room faced another building and while the bed was a king, I could feel where the two beds were connected. Great selection of Chilean wine in the room and the price of the bottles was affordable. The room also had a safe which was important. Location - GREAT!!!! It was a 5 minute walk to Bellas Artes. It's in Lastarria, which is a hip and cool place to be. Lots of restaurants, cafes, shops. Minutes from so many things including public transportation. I would stay here again!!!

Very friendly and helpful multilingual staff. Got help with booking tours and taxi to airport. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had a lot of options, cereal, hot food, fruits, pastries, breads, milk, juice and coffee. Had dinner and wine in the restaurant. It’s was very good. Happy with my stay.
