Okay. Did not appreciate someone else being able to open my door while myself and my wife were inside. It made both of us uncomfortable and spooked.

Poor experience, overcharged, poor value for $$$
Hotel and room not as shown in photos: noisy (could hear neighbors voices clearly, cramped, no space, no nice wood-panelling, etc., very dirty, beds were a murphy and a sofa sleeper. When both open no room to mover, had to crawl over beds to get to bathroom. We had to get sheets from desk and make up beds ourselves; however, desk seldom manned, actually had to search around for a maid to pickup sheets and towels, since too few of them as well. When we checked out I saw they were overcharging for our 3 day stay by approximately 200%. The desk person assured me that the manager would credit our credit card; however was not done. This was for our stay August 2018, now 10/20/2018. We are still disputing this with credit card. No breakfast, continental or otherwise-which was promised. Had to purchase an extension cord and adapter to connect lamp--few outlets and one was defective. Internet did not work, no cell service. Concert noise from up at the ski area one night(even with windows closed. Forced to travel quite a ways to find any services, food, gas, shops... Way overpriced, even without their overcharges. One of the worst experiences and places, I have ever stayed in, and I have traveled for 45 years all over the world and in all states approx. 70% of my life. I grew up in NH, but this hotel makes me almost ashamed of my native state.

Staff was dealing with an ‘emergency’ when I arrived. Maybe that accounts for the somewhat grumpy gentleman who checked me in - no smile, no ‘Welcome to Forest Glen Inn.’ But what I really disliked was the fact that he said my room number out loud not just once but THREE times! Not the thing to do for a solo female lodger!

    Very happy with everything!
The accommodations were lovely. The Inn was clean, the employees were friendly and the setting was wonderful

    clean, quiet, inexpensive.
Great little motel. Don’t let the name fool you, it is a value motel. We were surprised that the main bed is a trundle bed, but being such, allows for a full suite feel in a studio. There is a full kitchen, so while we only stayed a night, this would be great for a week, with the ability to cook and reheat meals. Service and condition are good, but not great. There was no continental breakfast to be had. Just coffee. At 9 am Sunday morning, there should be more. But overall, a great little place. They are at the end of a dead end road, so all rooms are nice and quiet. Which is great, considering that 0.5 mi roads goes straight to the main drag, across from the muddy moose.
