i was advised that there are no rooms available upon arrival to check in 9pm on Wednesday July 12th. since the hotel called my cell number to confirm arrival hours earlier while i was still in another country to arrive to hotel with string of meetings scheduled at the hotel just to find they cant accommodate me and my company colleague is very very disappointing and poor conduct. they took us to a different hotel which was ok. i am very upset and disappointed with Le Meridien and as someone spending many nights with the hotel chain i do not accept such poor conduct of customer service and planing. i could and should have gone from the airport to a different hotel why i need to taxi for 1 hour from airport to be told they totally disregard by confirmed booking, no more Le Meridian for me totally disappointing.

Okay location but good rooms.
Good location in PJ away from everything, however you will hear the mosque noises very clearly. Service of front desk isn't anything to celebrate, and we saw the valet parking guy playing games on his phone while someone patiently waited. I ended up getting the guys attention. Lifts are extremely slow and you may need to plan up to a 5 minute delay in busy times.

Meridien Petaling Jaya is a beautiful new hotel directly adjacent to the Paradigm Shopping Mall, which is also very nice and quite new. My wife and staying at Meridien for several days in April 2023. It's a top-level hotel with reasonable prices and we will certainly aim to stay there again next time we're in KL.
