Unique and eclectic property in the French Quarter
This is a unique property with 8 different rooms. It is filled with personal items from the proprietor's family. The owner had a story about each of the items. The location seemed shady at first because the property is not clearly marked. it turns out it is in a good spot almost on the corner of Espelande and Rampart with a trolly/bus stop which were used to see the mansions in the Garden District. The property is about 8 blocks from the real action on Bourbon St. We stayed in the Madam Steamboat Room which is one of a kind with mismatched and charming decoration consisting of steamboats, cat art, steamer trunks, coat tree, a painted vanity and old school tub. All of these things add to the character of the B&B including squeaky stairs, Mardi Gras outfit pieces and tons of cool stuff. My only "complaint" is that although the sheets, floors, toilet, sink, tub were very clean there was quite a bit of dust on on the bathroom wall. It didn't really bother me as I am not in contact with the wall but thought it odd that that particular wall was not clean but everything else was. In conclusion this is a great property for the price and I would definitely stay here again.

Walking distance from the French Quarter.
This is a good place to stay if you’re in New Orleans for a few days. It’s walking distance to the French quarter and away from the crowd. The neighborhood is kind of shabby but that’s almost everywhere in New Orleans. When we arrived, we called them so they can come out and open the gate for our car. We were given keys to lock to unlock and lock the doors when we leave the premises. It looks pretty safe with locks for each entry. The host were very friendly and give great advice where to go and what to do. Overall it’s a quaint place that’s very near. The only reason why I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 is because our room was on the 2nd floor and the house is settling so in the middle of our room the floor is not even and it was kind of creepy. Not sure if I’ll stay here again as I’m afraid of the house settling.

Cute B&B with a Focus on Extras
This was a cute B&B I selected for the very reasonable price and a great reviews during a high compression time in the market. I enjoyed a great stay. They focused on the extras with water, sodas, beer & wine available at check in and I’m the evenings and a nice breakfast in the morning. Owner and staff were great. The B&B itself is gated in and I felt safe within, but would not have ventured outside in the evening. I just had Ubers for pick up which worked well. There are a few rooms with exterior entries, which I wasn’t expecting, but was fine for me. Overall a very nice B&B a few minutes drive or ride from the heart of New Orleans.

Home away from home!
It felt like coming home!! Everyone there made me feel like family, and it is such a unique and beautiful place. Excellent location- close but not in the middle of the chaos. Very walkable to anywhere you need to be, and if you choose not to walk it’s always a cheap cab or Uber to where you want to go. I will definitely be back!!!
