We had a very nice day at the serenity clamping tent community. Due to Covid they were at very low capacity and some of the offerings were not available. The tents were very clean and the property was very calm and inviting. The walk to the beach was about five minutes away. The restaurant at the quiet beach was very adequate. We would definitely recommend this place and would come back again. The staff was very helpful as well. I would recommend going to the website to learn more about the status of the property. It was great and we would go again for sure.
I loved the theme of camp the sound of nature the beds on the beach with good service
Stunning site with impeccably clean facilities, especially considering this is glamping. Would definitely stay again. It is a 1 hour drive from Tulum so don't expect any convenience as far as location is concerned. I will also say that the service down at the beach club was a bit of a mess, 20 minute wait just to get a beer. But that was something that was congruent across everywhere in Tulum. Everyone is running around as if there are super busy with 100 customers when there are only 5... Maybe the city grew faster than the service was ready for.
The hotel and experience are very unique. It is a very cool concept, and the pictures are accurate. It really has a Tulum type feel and the property is very relaxing and feels like you’re in a jungle. The tents are a good size, clean and comfortable, with a big comfortable bed. With a few small changes this hotel could really be a special place. I have really only one issue about the property itself, and then some complaints about the beach club which is technically separate, but really an extension of the property: Me and another couple got placed in two tents on the edge of the property against the metal fence. I am not sure if we just got very unlucky due to a few windy days and two particularly bad tents, but our tents were UNBEARABLY loud from the tent canvas slapping around the frame. All 4 of us could not sleep at all, and the other couple ended up moving tents. They moved to one of the interior tents, and they told me it was a significant improvement. Unless this is fixed, I would highly reccomend staying away from the tents along the metal fence. With respect to the beach club - It is a bit crowded with the beds and tables, and is not that much space. The food was actually surprisingly good, maybe the best meal we had in over 7 days, but the service was terrible. Generally the service is slow in Mexico, but here it was particularly bad, and they would just not come by to take our order, and then once you ordered the food would take forever.
It’s very nice glamping comfortable great breakfast area by the beach. Make sure to take repellent mosquitoes and keep you mosquito door closed and you be fine👍
Or stay here was spectacular! My boyfriend and I were celebrating his birthday and Julio at the front desk went above and beyond to make it the most memorable experience for us! The only negative things about the experience was that it was cold out and there was no heat so the nights were really cold. Also the fire pits in the common courtyard were not working which was a little disappointing since it was cold. The sheets didn't smell clean but this could be due to the organic products the the resort uses. I would most certainly stay here again in warmer season. We had an amazing experience with the service we received as well as the unique nature of the resort.
The tented rooms are great - well designed, spacious, clean and well air conditioned. It is fairly loud but people are quite respectful with a noise ban after 9pm (remember - you’re on a tent so there’s really no sound proofing). Great for spotting iguanas in the morning! The service however at the restaurant and the beach was extremely slow - they forgot drinks on more than one occasion and the food was mediocre at best with a very minimal (albeit complimentary) breakfast. Come for the nice room, great deal on beach access but skip the onsite food and drinks.
The Serenity tent camp was a wonderful and unique experience. Basically a nice comfortable hotel room in a tent. The attention to detail was excellent from the hostesses to the maids, everyone provided the kind of service you would expect from a high end hotel.
Comfort in natural surroundings. Everything is so calm and relaxed, disturbed only by the birds and their sounds. All of the stuff were ready to help, Astrid and Dennys on reception, Montse and Ivan also. Just perfect
Serenity Camp is one of the most lovely locations on the Maya Riviera if you are looking for a hotel that is not typical. It is calm, relaxing, in a beautiful wooded setting with a five minute walk to a private part of the beach at Xpu-Ha. We stayed in the Harmony Triple the first three nights and then needed to move to the Harmony Double. Both of these tents have gorgeous beds, natural bath products, excellent room care and ample towels.....and A/C, if needed. The pool was a perfect way to end the day at the beach. I suggest that you book your room with breakfast included because it is wonderful!...a full buffet AND eggs or pancakes from the kitchen. I also suggest you try to have your lunch at the hotel restaurant on the beach where the choices are more varied. Dinner has an Asian flare. The food is good, but there is no Mayan cuisine offered. We had numerous dinners at Serenity and enjoyed them. The service is also exceptional. All of the staff members were delightful, especially the hotel manager and food service staff. I plan to return to Serenity next year!
