Hotel Peix Sayulita & Beach Club

We love this place! Right on the beach. Great restaurant. Terrific service. It was the second time we’ve stayed there. Will be back again!

The BEST hotel ever! Everyone is gracious and kind. You are situated right on the beach. The staff and owner Gus go out of their way to make you feel happy, comfortable and at home. Town is two steps away. Definitely excited to go back ASAP! :)

Gustavo is a very nice person, loved the view. We stayed in room #1 and AC wasn’t working, we asked the first day and they said they will fix it but nothing , I asked the second day and same thing, AC was never fixed, never asked Gustavo because he wasn’t there until last day we were leaving. We asked the girls at the bar. Room needs some small updates and bathroom is not private (No door) and room a little small, I couldn’t sleep the first night due to loud music that yes it’s understandable because of the location of the hotel. But the view is incredible amazing !!!

Hotel Peix is an incredible place to stay in Sayulita. Right on the ocean, if you're lucky to get a room facing the beach your deck is a lovely place to enjoy the view. The service on the beach is great, the food and drinks are all excellent, and the rooftop bar is awesome. All the staff are awesome. Thank you for an amazing stay!

The architecture and design of the building were cool but the room itself was small, dark and stuffy and the location was nuts: right in the middle of the busiest part of the already overcrowded beach. I felt like I was at a music festival with a bunch of drunk white Californians with dreadlocks. My daughter and I ended up paying for another room for the last two nights of our trip at a spacious, peaceful, and beautiful beach hotel about a ten minute beach walk north of Hotel Peix.

It was kept very clean and its on the sand. Impossible to get a better location. For $100 it is hard to do better than that in Sayulita. Food was amazingly good and the free beach chairs are a sweet bonus. It is not a "resort" but a great place to spend time as everything you need including convenience stores, pastries, fish taco stands, juice bars etc are literally within 100 feet of the property.

Hotel Peix would probably be a decent place to stay for a couple or a group of friends in their twenties. The hotel itself is located close to several clubs that blast music with heavy bass all night long. Granted I had been warned about how noisy it was even on the beach in Sayulita but nothing can prepare you for what's in store! We had to ask for things for the room several times before we finally got part of what we needed. The pillows were hard and heavy. There are no wash cloths provided and the towels are small. People were smoking on all the balconies and it came directly into our ocean front room. I’m sure these issues would be fine for some but felt the need to leave the review based on adults that aren’t just in party mode looking for a relaxing environment.

Wonderful location square in the middle of the town's beach life. Was always interesting to just watch the busy beach life from the Hotel's rooftop bar area. Decent surf break right in front of the Hotel, not great but certainly handy to walk from your room a hundred feet or so and be in the waves surfing. Great food service, we decided best restaurant in town-no evening meal so that was when we walked into town to eat. One big negative is a dance bar less than a block away on wknds plays a seriously annoyingly/impossible to ignore bass beat that echos throughout the whole block. To the point that sleeping can be difficult. Otherwise room was very nice, Mexico basic, we had good A/C and the shower always had hot water. Rooms well maintained, cleaning service was immaculate, bed was quite comfortable. All in all would recommend, we will most likely make this one of our 'go to' places. A very funky, local interaction town. Touristy but in a really hip, cool, old Mexico way.

The staff were all top notch,Gus, the owner, has assembled a crew that works to provide the relation that you want. Defiantly would stay here again.
