Delightful Small Hotel
Hotel Gea was conveniently located. It was tastefully furnished and very comfortable. The staff was very helpful, especially Alesandra (spelling?), who managed the hotel. Amalia, who managed the breakfast was a sheer delight. I highly recommend Hotel Gea.

Great location and comfortable.
This hotel was a short walk from the train station and within walking distance to most attractions. We walked everywhere. The hotel was hard to find as we arrived at night and the main doors were closed so we didn’t know what “gate” they were referring to in the email. The gate was viewable once the main doors were open. Luckily, an older Italian gentleman saw us confused on where to go and helped us find the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The AC worked great and was a life saver with the heat! We were put in a room right next to the check in desk which can get loud but we slept with a sound machine. Overall, I would recommend this hotel as a great location and bonus: very close to a gelato shop!

Poor 2.0
More Rome less hotel is the formula
Only good thing about this hotel, I disliked so much, I tour the city more, I saw things I have not planned, trying to delay as much as I can my return to hotel. First night, room 206, the size was in-between a broom closet and a college dorm. Instead of being apologetic , I guess sold out, I was explained that is the size if single room. I am for 25 years a tour director/guide for major USA tour operators I know standards Once you are looking for warts you find plenty at this place check out 10am-industry standard 11-12 breakfast opened till 9:30-industry standard 11-11:30 And many more: hidden steps without proper warning, poorly lit hallways, worn out carpets, being buzzed at the gate day and night All in all goes beyond me how it got "superb" rating I did not expect Waldorf at this price. In the last 6 month I stayed at a few hotels same price range in the neighborhood, they all seem Ritz compared to this one I rarely write reports, but your rating is profoundly false, please send your Rome people inspect this "superb" property

Home away from Home!
Thank you for making our stay so cozy! The staff took care every our need. Hotel is small and cozy. Great breakfast! Hard bed mattress - perfect for our backs. Definitely will stay there again!

Good 6.0
Nice hotel but not was what was expected
Never had to go through a heavy door and a gate and a flight of stairs to reach the hotel. Bed was hard, pillows flat, TV only had a few news channels in English. No tissues. Shower was narrow. Breakfast was okay considering it was European. Pleasant stay but would not go back. Good location in Rome.

Nice local hotel
The staff were friendly, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We needed 3 beds for 3 people and they accommodated us, no problem. The sign out front is a little hard to find so pay attention to the directions they send you!

Quiet refuge. Good value.
Hotel is in the back building. Ring the bell and they let you in. Very busy area close to subway but the room is quiet. AC worked perfectly well. Nice in the hot summer. Hotel is on second floor. Go in door to left of fountain and it’s there. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Central location. Great value.

Worth the Stay
The hotel attendant was very helpful and made the stay in Rome a lot easier. They also allowed you to leave your baggage even after check out which allowed me and my girlfriend to continue exploring Rome on our last day. It was worth the stay!
