Horrible experience worst hotel
My room had no water at all. Not the bathroom sink not the shower. I advised them upon arrival and they promised me a quick fix. They never got it working and told me they couldn’t move me because they were booked, even though I found out by a maid that they did have other rooms. I guess they didn’t want to move me because I paid through Hotel.com. I told them I had a business meeting in the morning and again they promised me to have it fixed by 8am. Then by 9am. No one showed up till 9:30 am. After 15 minutes of him not figuring out what was wrong, I had to leave for my business meeting with no shower. When I asked for refund they said sorry, you booked through Hotel.Com so we can’t help you. To add insult to injury, I couldn’t even get a juice from my included “free breakfast” because it was now 10:02 am and the breakfast ended at 10:00 am. Mind you I would have come down much earlier than 10:00 am if they had actually had running water. When Hotel.Com called them they refused to work with Hotel.com because they said I “used the room”. They failed to admit that they kept promising me that they would send someone at any minute in order to keep me from leaving. Luckily, Hotel.com stepped up and issued me a full refund. For this I was grateful. This hotel which has no elevators, no ac, no towels, no iron or ironing board, is a pathetic excuse for a hotel, don’t stay here. And I NEVER write bad reviews. Apparently they don’t shower so it wasn’t a big deal to them.

Ok, but...
The place itself is ok, but there are many details that make it less than ideal... for example the modern design of the room has the bathroom sink right on the corridor from the entrance to the bed area, in full view of everybody. So this is not ideal when sharing a room with somebody. The doors to the shower and toilet did not close fully. They would swing open. Also, it has a microwave and refrigerator but no kitchen sink or any plates, silverware whatsoever. Unless you bring your own stuff, it's not useable. It's a noisy place (like most of Mexico City). If you want drinking water you have to go down three flights of stairs in my case) that are out in the open, and it was quite cold. The people are nice enough and give good service, within their limitations.

Good Hotel, but disappointed us
The Hotel itself is at a great location and has very nice interiors. Exceptional for a price they are offering at. The breakfast included in the stay is at a restaurant right below the property, which is quite good as well. However, we had a bad experience as they denied breakfast for 2 out of 3 nights we stayed at the Hotel as it was the 30th & 31st December. They didn't care to inform us while Check-In nor they arranged for any alternate options. Also, the staff doesn't speak English very much which kind of makes it difficult to interact. Also, the WiFi was very weak, due to which the network kept dropping.

PESIMA LIMPIEZA
EN GENERAL MUY MALA EXPERIENCIA, HOTEL SIN ESTACIONAMIENTO, SIN ELEVADOR Y NADIE QUE TE AYUDE CON LAS MALETAS, EL CUARTO LO ENCONTRAMOS MUY SUCION INCLUSO OBJETOS OLVIDADDOS DE HUESSPEDES ANTERIORES CON ROLLO DE PAPEL HIGIENICO A MENOS DE LA MITAD, SOLO UNA TOALLA Y ERAMOS 4 PERSONAS., SU CAFETERA MUY BONITA PERO NO HABIA TAZAS. ME PIDIERON COPIA DE INE Y TARJETA PARA SACAR COPIA FRONTAL Y LA SACARON LAS COPIAS POR AMBOS LADOS. EN GENERAL UNA MUY MALA EXPERINCIA... LA PRIMERA NOCHE SUS NETFLIX NO CARGABA LA PROGRAMACION, PARTE CREO POR SU PESIMO INTERNET. EN LA PAGINA DECIA QUE PODIAN PRESTARNOS UNA CUNA Y LA SEÑORITA DE RECEPCION ME DIJO QUE NO CONTABAN CON ESE SERVICIO.NO TIENE AIRE ACONDICIONADO. NO LO RECOMIENDO.

Needs upkeep
Ok room. Walls could be repainted, sheets had permanent stains from previous clients. Clean but stained. Free breakfast sometimes at the cafe next door, or in the hotel depending on the day. I believe this may be random. Safe area, close to WTC. Nice bar below, locals and visitors hang out but not too many do it's relaxed. Not all clerks speak English but at least try. All are very nice to deal with. Water doesn't stay hot for too long nor get too hot so get in and out within a reasonable timeframe. Coffee in room is good quality, espresso size servings. In general average experience :)
