Gasthaus 210
Gasthaus 210 was a comfortable pleasant stay, competitively priced for the area. It's a basic, clean, simple room, but was fine if you're just using it for a place to sleep. Having a refrigerator, microwave, and hot water kettle was nice, as was the short walking distance to the train station and plenty of restaurants. No air conditioning is common for the area, but street noise can be something to consider if you are travelling in hot weather and need to leave the windows open. We travel light and no elevator didn't bother us, but may be something to consider also if you travel heavy or have mobility issues. Having the ground floor store open 24 hours a day was nice also. I would stay there again

Stayed here before flying out of Zurich. They were very nice. It was conviently located. I would recommend taking an Uber to the airport instead of their shuttle though. It’s about half the price!

Misrepresentations in the listing
The office location can be a little difficult to find as it is in a "convenience" store. The listing has been corrected since but it listed both an elevator and onsite laundry. The building has neither of these. This was not a problem for us but it might be for some. When I pointed it out to the "front desk" he showed me the listing from another site that does not include these things and said that he did not know how the listing was created. It has since been corrected so... There is no air conditioning which was a problem in July as we had to keep the window open and there are many bars in the neighborhood. People were outside yelling until 0400. Clean with a fine location close to the train station and inexpensive for Zurich.

OK place, but feels like a budget offering
This is Zürich, so you have to expect a higher price for the value. Still... First impression was very much underwhelming. The hotel is located about a 24h grocery evidently managed by the same people: the check-in counter is squeezed between the aisles of the store (I bumped agains a shelf reaching for my papers, and there was a box where I should have been standing to fill paperwork). The family room where we were staying was spacious a clean enough but the kid's bed as a folding bed with a very soft and very noisy spring mattress (in fact my son woke up many times from the noise when he turned around at night). There was an empty socket where a light fixture should have been (see picture). The grown-up bed was squeezed against the wall on three sides, meaning one of us had to climb over the other to reach his spot, and there was no space for glasses, phone, etc. near the bed. The neighborhood is VERY lively, with many ethic takeout stores, not "traditional" Zürich. There were celebrations all night (shouting and honking) after a soccer victory. Fortunately the widows are very good and soundproof. There's a microwave, plates, fridge and kettle (no heating surface). At the end of the day, the place is OK, but far from luxurious.

Loved staying here. The location is excellent and it was so convenient to have the hotel above a 24hr convince store. I just wishing parking was easier.
