Warming Home away from home
Nice and clean, very roomy for Japanese hotel.

Very Good 8.0
Very nice boutique hotel, with friendly, helpful staff. The on-site restaurant was very welcome, particularly on our first night after arriving from Tokyo. Room was pretty small [not much room for suitcases] but comfortable and very good bathroom facilities. Good location for shopping, cafes and restaurants and only a 5 minute taxi ride to Kyoto Station. The beautiful Higashi Honganji temple opposite the hotel was an added bonus.

Good Hotel good location.
Great little hotel and a very good location just north of the railway station. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast a good combination of Japanese and European taste. Good Public bath. Most rooms are away from the street so very quite.

Kyoto Home away from Home
Charming hotel in the centre of Kyoto and near a quieter district of the city. Walking distance from the train station and many nice local bars, restaurants and amenities. Be sure to rent a bike from the shop a couple doors down and explore the sites further afield. The staff were so polite and the room a good size and also cool in sweltering August. Sink had a funny smell but otherwise a very clean and inviting hotel. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Highly recommend!
I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Kuu. The atmosphere and decor were very cute and calming. The staff were lovely and helpful. As well as being in excellent condition, the facilities offered such as the breakfast and the indoor public baths were a great addition. It's a short walk to Kyoto station and the WiFi was great. I don't have any cons for this hotel, it was great value for money and I will DEFINITELY be staying here if/whenever I return to Kyoto.
