Best vacation in Florence
The best stay in my 9 day trip in Italy. The rooms were clean, has great space and the perfect location. The check in procedure was easy and quick. And the front dest offered us a map with the best places to visit. They also showed us were to park the car which was a nearby and safe location and charger 30 eur per day

The room was really spacious n clean..privacy too for me n hubby n 2 teenagers.. Alec was the one at the front desk.He was a friendly n warm person. Feels good to check in with this kind of atmosphere especially after we missed our train n only reached Florence almost at 6 pm instead of 2.30pm. Hilight location is next too main station a bit hard too find it located on Genelari building at 2 floor there is no sign in front of hotel. Staff is super friendly and helpful offer map and advice for city. Low light You need earplug for this hotel it located on 2 floor of Mcdonald where i can hear people talking downstairs the whole night also rail sound as well.

We chose this hotel because it was in the perfect location to take day trips around Italy. It is across the street from the main train station and walking distance to most major attractions. It was quite clean and we didn’t have issues with noise as our room was not facing the Main Street. It is above a McDonalds (which I thought was convenient) and there is a great grocery store just downstairs. The downside - a few unsavoury characters hanging around the entrance loitering. The bathroom was fine because we had an enclosed glass shower (my sister’s room didn’t have that so water went everywhere). Room was a decent size but there was no desk or table to put anything on which made it more difficult to live out of a suitcase and get ready. They also don’t provide any boxed tissue. The bed was very hard which was uncomfortable after a long day of walking around the city. They close the doors to the dining area at 8pm so no access to hot water unless you use the kettle in the room but the cups were dusty and didn’t look clean. Some of the staff seem to guard that area. The TV was very small and we could only find one English channel. I didn’t like that the front desk was closed at 8pm, because if you need anything after that, you’re on your own. The ladies at the front desk were wonderful! Very helpful, polite and welcoming. They answered all our questions and did everything they could to assist us. Good for short stays.

Location is next to train station. Very convenient to take train. The most famous places of Florence are nearby (within 15 min walk distance), shopping, eating very close. The room is large, clean. The staffs are very kindly, helpful. I definitively recommend this hotel if visit Florence. Josh
