Acacia Sigon hotel - think again...
un friendly staff. we got a room not as we ordered, so check in was delayed. the room we got had no hot water and stream in the shower. once we complained they offered to move us to another room where air condition was not working. When we asked to speak to the manager the answer we got is- "she's not willing to talk to you". We asked for a refund for the inconvenience we had and all the room changing but the answer we got is a hard NO and zero willing to help.

Great location!
This hotel is in the center of a very well known backpackers area (PHAM NGU LAO STREET and BUI VIEN WALKING STREET). The hotel is located in an alley-way which is a very short walk from the main street. All staff are very friendly and helpful, except the maintenance guy who usually sleep on the sofa in the lobby at night. He is not very friendly or professional. The hotel is pretty clean and comfortable, and at a great price.

Not bad , there's better and worst
Hotel is formally named Brilliant Hotel, not sure why. Hotel, is beginning to show signs of wear. Location is good, some staff not very motivated or happy but I usually get check in by a long time front desk guy who always helps out and tries to be helpful. Breakfast is simple, but not much beyond that. Beds, are comfortable, but I keep finding ants in no matter what room I'm in. The sinks are given little inspection and you will always find at glob of dark, mildew behind the sink and mirror area. It would be simple to clean but ? At the right price its not hat bad but Hotel.com allows many of its advertisers to inflate the usual price and the discount price. This practice is allowed and encountered by most hotels that are listed. Wifi a little above average. This hotel is priced correctly from about $20 to $25 per night.

Service is great, breakfast is awesome and it’s very centralized but AC was shut down for a good period of time during the night which made it so hot and unbearable. Found out in the morning that circuit was overloaded and stripped the circuit breaker. Hope they got it fixed :)

Great hotel in a central location
We loved the room we stayed in. It was very spacious and clean. The hotel is also in a pretty central location. We were able to walk to most things we wanted to visit within a 20 min walk. The only negative was that the entrance to the hotel is down a dark alleyway off of the main street. It would have been nice if the hotel told us of this ahead of time.
