I would like to come back
Very helpfull staff and also very good breakfast. The cheaper rooms are really small. Close to the bus stop to the city or elsewhere.

Little Gem in Reykjavik
This is the first time being in Iceland, not knowing what to expect. We arrived early and the owner of the hotel was very helpful and let us have breakfast and allowed us to check into the room early. The room: we had room upstairs at the corner. It was quite, mostly clean, small table with two chairs. The king size bed was put together with two twin and was firm and comfortable. the heat comes from radiator can be adjusted and was adequate during our stay. Iceland is a very "Wet" place so the room has high humidity and condensation can be seen around the window ledges, which causes some issues such was mold growth and water dripping but the owner takes care of it well. would suggest to have larger table in the room for eating etc: Location: The hotel is located at zip 108 where most of the tour companies pick up from the front door except Reykjavik excursion ( I dont recommended anyway). Most company will drop you off not at the hotel but at the bus stop where 3 min walking is required. The internet: Wifi is great with good speed can connect more than one device The Breakfast: it will save you lots of money because of the free breakfast. milk, juice, all kinds of fish, bread, proteins, and cake... loved it!! With the price, you can't beat it !!! Best place to be.

We rented a car and drove everywhere. The bed is comfortable. I found a ball of hair on a towel and the bathroom is very tiny. However, we made it work.

Small but cozy
This was our first time to Iceland and didn’t know what to expect from the area. The hotel was in our price range and was easily driveable to downtown. I would not recommend staying here if you do not have a mode of transportation as it is a long hole into town. The hotel rooms were perfect size for one person but get a little cramped for two, especially if staying more than two nights. The breakfast in the morning is worth the stay alone as it will save you money and it’s a tranditonal Icelandic spread.

Homey hospitality
I was incredibly sad to leave hotel lotus. Maria made us feel at home. She offered us cake and coffee open arrival and prepared a beautiful breakfast the following day. She also gave us recommendations and informed us of upcoming weather and road closures. Hotel was clean and conveniently located.
