Smokey Hotel / Website should mention smokey room
The hotel was smokey in the entire building, and I didn't breathe well in this hotel for my 8 nights. I got this deal from but after I got the hotel, a few clicks later, the website tells me it is a smoking room, I believe the should mention this prior to even giving any rooms to sell online, in big bold letters "This is a Smoking Room", whether or not it is a deal or not. It should be mentioned up front in the beginning of the website/prior to clicking and making reservations.

Good 6.0
Cheap accommodation
Conveniently located. The front desk are very helpful. Reasonably quiet, all the facilities you could ask for. This is not a conventional hotel.

Ok for 1 night if you get a good price
I stayed 2 nights. The room was small, outdated but having all the things you need for 1 pers. 2 normal adults will not fit in this room. Breakfast is horrible, I regret paying extra for it. Staff speaks very little English so you can basically not communicate with them. The only advantages are the location, in the center of Asakusa and the nice phone with internet you receive it to use in and outside the hotel. I’ll never return to this hotel. Advice for the management: renovate it, train the staff to be nicer with the customers, add a good quality breakfast and you can be a nice middle level hotel

Very Good 8.0
The hotel was lovely. We were on the older side of the hotel in a non smoking room that smelt like someone had been smoking in it. Apart from that everything with the hotel was lovely.

Good Hotel
Breakfast rather ordinary but otherwise a very good hotel in very convenient location. Would definitely recommend.
