A truly wonderful place to stay
It seems that there are too many 5 star reviews for hotels on this site. I have been disappointed many times and now almost completely discount reviews. That being said, staying at the Edison was really wonderful. The hotel is comfortable and there are many nice touches. But what makes this a truly remarkable stay is the attentive staff. Likely the best service I have seen.

Lovely service at a new design boutique hotel
I was reading reviews of different Hotels in Georgetown and finally chose this because of the pictures. It proved to be a great choice. Service is overwhelming, the lounge serves an afternoon tea and a lovely happy hour with wine and cheese. Designs are stylish whereas in some of the other hotels Interior looked shabby. Good location, walking distance everywhere

A Hidden Gem in Penang
Words can't describe how much i love this hotel . From the moment i found it online, i fall in love already. The interior design for the entire building is very nice for such a heritage building, they nailed it! Beautifully decorated with modern touch. The hotel lobby, courtyard, foyer and the lounge design made us feel welcomed. The room is gorgeous and classy. The location is perfect, walking distance to most popular destinations, even Blue Mansion (Chong Fatt Tze Mansion) is just across the road. The facilities and its service are beyond our expectations. Our favourite place to hang around with other guest and also the hotel chairman is the lounge area, where it stocked with snacks, fresh fruits, drinks for us 24hours a day! Last but not least, the most important role in a hotel is the staff, which they have the best people, i guess. They are very friendly and helpful. Thanks The Edison George Town hotel for giving a good experience for me and my friends, we really enjoyed our stay in your hotel. We will be back for sure!

Boutique Hotel
Beautiful Boutique hotel in Georgetown Penang. The staff was so nice and helpful. Rooms are spacious, new and clean. The wireless is not very good and shower water pressure is weak. Other than that I would stay there if visiting the area again.
