You get what you pay for - decent, just average
Basically you get for what you pay for. For the low price, bear in mind that there is no fridge in the room and no phone line to reception. The big plus is that the room is much bigger than the average room, which is good if you have kids who need space. However, we found a fly in the room and the chairs were a little itchy when i sat on it. When you turn on the lights in the toilet, the fan in the toilet gives up a certain noise. The hotel is also about 10 min away from central. Still, i must say my husband and i enjoyed our 3 nights stay there. We enjoyed the 10 min walk to and fro the city centre. The staff are nice and breakfast is also decent and good value for the price charged. NOT a fancy hotel but decent. Good value for money.

The hotel itself is great when it comes to location. However, we were place at the furthermost part of the hotel building in which we had a poor connection with the wifi, almost nothing should i say. We thought we would be place in a room with a city view because that’s what the booking says, but unfortunately no view at all. There’s an ongoing construction of a building adjacent to the hotel which blocks our room view. In addition we didn’t get the rest we needed because of the noise coming from construction site. Staff is ok, however there’s a one lady with a blond, shoulder level hair who’s rude. She was not helpful at all. Hotel is ok, location wise.

Cool but cool
I stayed in Gdansk during a cold weekend in May, and unfortunately I was freezing both outside and in my hotel room. I went to talk about the situation to the reception in my last morning, and they did immediately send a repair man to my room. He was a professional, he somehow made the water run in the heater pipes with his tools. However, I didn't have time to observe the complete effects, because I had to check out soon. - Otherwise the hotel and my room were OK. A minor complaint is, that I didn't like the drawer system in the bathroom for the toothbrush etc. I want a decent shelf.

Short Business Trip
I got lost in the city, I used bolt from bus stand to reach hotel. And the driver of bolt dropped me on the back side of hotel. When I googled to find the entrance of hotel it gave me another 1km distance by walk and even after walking I was not able to reach the hotel so I again ordered another bolt and that driver finally dropped me at the right entrance. The entrance of hotel is located in the street. Whenever you go to Gdansk keep in mind that navigation systems are not very good as compared to other European countries/ cities. And install the application of Freeway (My Taxi) to use in Poland especially Gdansk.

Good value for money
The hotel is good value for money, the rooms and breakfast are quite adequate and the location is reasonable. It is located right next to the European Centre of Solidarity Museum on the one side, which is good, but also a paint ball arena housed in a fairly run down building on the other side. Aside from the aesthetic negative, the paint ball arena was not a problem, I heard no noise whatsoever. It is a pleasant 15min walk into the historic centre of Gdansk, and there is a fairly large shopping centre close by, there is also a tram stop about 50m away. On check-in, the hotel did warn me that rooms are only serviced every second day - this was not a problem for me.
