Celes BeachFront Resort - Koh Samui, Koh Samui

Great resort on the beach within walking distance to a number of restaurants and the fisherman’s village. The food and room were also excellent.

the hotel is very nice but vary poor service, the breakfast was very poor and cheap. there wasn't free water in the pool, so we always need to buy or take from the room, and the staff weren't approve to enter the pool with anything that you didn't buy from the hotel (and the hotel price was very expensive). the staff was very petty.

The room and facilities are very nice. The location is quite convenient. However, the staff are very new and not well trained. The language and problem solving skill they have are poor. I had to advise them when I wanted to book the yoga session. I was asked to not eat anything from the minibar or complimentary fruit from my room at the pool. I think this policy is ridiculous. I have been to many luxury hotels around the world and have never experienced this. Breakfast was not as much choices as I expected but ok. The Yoga instructor was very professional and helpful.

We stayed at beachfront pool villa for 5 days. The room is clean and comfy. The pool is large, with high privacy and direct access to the beach within one minute. The resort has a very relaxing environment. Staff are friendly. There are many local restaurants along the road, but AK restaurant is our favourite, just a one-minute-walk from the resort entrance. The only thing I can pick on is the shower in the bathroom, the outdoor one next to the pool has proper water pressure.

Lovely hotel with super staff. Very quiet, not a party place, a good 10 mins walk to the fisherman’s village, for us it was a super start to our holiday. Rooms and breakfast were superb!
