Classic Inn
Its a Lovely old inn with a few quirks, but that is part of the charm. Hostess was terrific, breakfast sensational! Very comfortable.

Very Good 8.0
Wonderful experience in a charming property
What a lovely place! My 9 year-old son and I stayed in the Lucinda Zevely room, a completely charming and comfortable room which overlooks the courtyard. I was struck by how very clean the room, linens, and bathroom were. Sometimes this isn't the case, especially in historic properties. Matt welcomed us warmly, checked us in, offered us cookies, and showed us to our room. I also very much appreciated the fact that Matt allowed me to store my insulin in the kitchen refrigerator. Breakfast was delicious, and included coffee and tea, a variety of breads, a granola/fruit/yogurt parfait, and an apple-cinnamon puff pastry with bacon. I let Matt know that I'm a vegetarian, and he spared me the bacon :) Guests unfamiliar with historic properties may not like the quirks of old houses; the Zevely has surprisingly few, though. The floors creak a bit, but that's the extent of it. The wifi is included in the room rate, and is reasonably fast. The location couldn't be more convenient to Old Salem, as it's located at one end of the street *in* Old Salem, directly across the street from the taverns. My son and I highly recommend the Zevely (my son proclaimed it "epic"). If Old Salem is your destination, you truly can't find better or more appropriate accommodations.

Good 6.0
Great location, okay inn.
Great breakfast. Small room and very small bathroom. Hard mattress. Stairs to most rooms. Perfect location in Old Salem. Not much info at the inn. Not an offer of how can we help orient you.
